1. The service

Speedometer.tools provides free online tools: a GPS speedometer, speed tests, unit converters and calculators. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes. You may not misuse the site, for example by attempting to disrupt it or access it in ways that harm other users.

2. GPS speed is an estimate

Speed, distance and other values shown by our tools depend on your device, its GPS receiver and signal conditions. They can be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. Our tools are for information only and must not be used as legal evidence (for example, to dispute a speeding ticket), for law enforcement, or for any safety-critical purpose.

3. Drive safely

Never interact with your phone while driving. Set up the speedometer before you start, mount your device securely and let a passenger operate it. Always obey traffic laws, posted speed limits and your vehicle’s own speedometer. You are responsible for following local laws on phone use in vehicles.

4. Provided “as is”

The tools and content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. We work hard to keep conversions and facts correct, but we can’t guarantee that every value is free of errors.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Speedometer.tools is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site and its tools — including fines, accidents or decisions based on the values shown.
