Short version: your location never leaves your device, we have no accounts and we don’t use tracking cookies.

Your location
The GPS speedometer and speed tests ask your browser for location access. If you allow it, your position and speed are processed only inside your browser to calculate speed, distance and trip time. Your location is never sent to our servers, never stored by us and never shared with anyone. When you close the page, the trip data is discarded.
You can withdraw location access at any time in your browser or phone settings. The other tools (converters and calculators) don’t use your location.
Data stored on your device
We use your browser’s local storage to remember a few preferences on your own device: your preferred speed unit and your speed alert settings. This data stays in your browser, isn’t sent to us and can be cleared at any time by clearing your site data.
Accounts, analytics and cookies
There are no user accounts on this site. At the moment we don’t use analytics services, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this page before it happens and describe exactly what is collected.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server automatically records basic technical information for each request: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and running (for example, to detect abuse or fix errors). They are kept for a limited time and are not used to build profiles or shared with third parties, except where required by law.
Children
The site is a general-audience tool and doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
